For the past two years, I have hit a block in my writing. I hesitate to call it “writer’s block,” because that means something else to me. It is more like a complete lack of inspiration.
I think my problem is that I have finished a novel that I want to publish and I’ve been spending a lot of time teaching myself what I need to know about traditional publishing. I also feel like if I start another novel that I’m giving up on the one I have completed. However, I know that I have to get over all of that and put the pen to paper (or fingers to keys more like!), so I bought myself a little motivational treat that I thought I would share with you.

If you have read my goals page, you will know that I believe Pinterest needs more pins and boards for writers. In my daily effort to search out pinable writerly things, I occasionally come across something that has already been pinned. I’m always pleased and I always repin the gem to one of my boards. Sometimes, I discover that the pin comes from a board for writers!! Ah! I get so excited!

One of my classmates said that she sat down to write an eight page paper for her rhetoric class. After a grueling couple of hours, she sat back to see what she had accomplished: a paragraph!
